Uranium 235 was used in the atomic bomb dropped on Hiroshima, which had the power of destruction comparable to approximately 15 kilotons of TNT explosives. 50% of the energy was dissipated as bomb blast which destroyed buildings and 35% as heat rays, causing fires. 15% of the energy became radiation, robbing those who survived the blast and heat of their health.
