The Cordless Business Phone "Long Bus" could configure a system consisting of a combination of up to eight cordless and wired telephones using three lines. This model employed a two-zone system that allows cordless telephones to be used in two different geographic areas, providing coverage twice as large as the coverage by the conventional model. This system allowed up to six cordless telephones to be used at the same time. These cordless telephones had a display for showing the telephone number of the remote party and the call duration. They were available for calling continuously for five hours and could remain on standby for incoming calls for about 100 hours. The system had a rich set of functions such as abbreviated dialing for up to 100 numbers, different ring tones for individual telephones, and three-party conference calling among one external line plus two extensions.
