April 1986 marks the introduction of Pressed Flower Telegrams which feature individually hand-pressed flowers on specially designed paper and purchased from UNICEF. Each sheet of paper includes some six varieties of flowers of the season. A special technique preserves the beauty and color of fresh flowers as a long-lasting keepsake. In addition, profits from the special paper go to aid the children of the world through preventive inoculation and other welfare programs administered through UNICEF from U.N. headquarters in New York.
