Evaluate the feasibility of a multimedia group working system and a multimedia database system including high-definition images.

• To support smooth, efficient collaborative group working at remote sites, multimedia software that integrates images, sounds, and text will be developed, and will implement in-house conferencing and group work via LAN will be implemented.
• Form a multimedia database that combines various types of imformation with text, high-definition still and moving images, and sounds, and create a network linking the database center with multimedia terminals in-house and at customers' premises.
