Establish a regional high-speed network as a regional communications infrastructure, and test the exchange of multimedia information and distribution of multimedia data.

• Integrates a virtual database based on the local network environment to construct the city "OROPpAS" on the network.
  "OROPpAS" accommodates an information service counter, art museum, historical material museum, newspaper publishing company, broadcasting station, publishing company, school, municipal office, bank, Shinto shrine, park, campground, and so on. The facilities existing in the town work on the network. The "Street Corner on Demand" experiment is also made to provide the current view.
• A software catalog is placed on the server to verify the software distribution function and the charging and account settling system based on the Intelligent Pad technology promoted by Sapporo City and SAPPORO ELECTORONICS CENTER.
