Confirmation of efficiency of editing by the electronic publishing and editing system using the multimedia network

• Transfers remote multimedia material data for electronic publishing and editing (MPEG2-encoded moving pictures, text, voice, audio, and still images) between the server and a client for real-time editing, distribution, and display.
• Transfers and registers material data from the workstation at each node distributed on the network to the multimedia server, edits the electronic publication combining material data obtained at individual nodes from the server, transfers and registers the final results of editing, and displays the electronic multimedia publication.
