Evaluates and verifies the effects, efficiency, and workability of the diagnostic aid system using image communication, supported by special doctors, for local hospitals (hospitals in the Nagoya City). This experiment also verifies and studies new technological factors such as high-speed and different-speed communications.

• Providing diagnostic aid and medical information from special doctors to local hospitals: Transmits and receives various inspection data and medical images (including X-ray film, CT, and MRI images) between the local hospitals and university hospitals placed one another over a distance, to provide a diagnostic aid using the desktop conference function of the TV conference unit and the collaboration function while sharing the screen.
• Introducing patients to special doctors from local hospitals: Shares patient information by sending patients' charts and inspection data to special doctors from local hospitals.
