Verification of confirming that digital video materials with high-end quality at a remote place can be compressed, transferred without any loss, and online-editable through the high-speed digital network.

• Incorporates the system that can transfer high-end quality digital video materials (high-quality video images acceptable to broadcasting) between Tokyo and Osaka in real time or near-real time into video editing equipment. In this experiment, a video material in Osaka is placed, for example, in a situation in which it looks as if it exist in Tokyo, and the material is edited in the editing room in Tokyo to check whether the material is not degraded in image quality after passing through the network.
