Rechargeable High Capacity Shoulder Phone
In March 1989, NTT introduced a shoulder phone which could be recharged while inside a running vehicle. This is done by plugging a DC adaptor cord into the cigarette lighter and plugging it into the jack on the shoulder phone unit. This shoulder phone can also be recharged from any household 100-V AC outlet. The indicator on the adaptor lights during recharging, blinks quickly when nearly fully charged, and blinks slowly once fully charged.
