The Digital Business Phone HDII Series was an easy-to-use system providing a variety of functions unique to a digital telephone system. The system had a large liquid crystal display on which the user could visually confirm operating procedures and various messages. To meet the hotel, dormitory, and hospital needs, the system allowed a combination of a certain number of telephone lines and a certain number of extensions to be selected freely to suit the facility size and also to be used for morning calls, call charge management, and a prepaid system. The system provided strong support for hospital transactions in conjunction with the nurse call system.
