The Business Phone E VS Series Model M was capable of accommodating up to 12 lines and 36 telephone sets, allowing the system to be configured to meets its application. This system had many convenient functions. For example, the ring tone for each telephone line could be selected from four different tones and three-way calling was available that permits a talking party to add a third party over another extension to the call. The system could accommodate up to four cordless telephone sets. It also had a substantial collection of optional functions available such as automatic answering using voice messages.
