The Digital Business Phone [Alpha]II Hybrid system could incorporate different types of equipment such as dedicated office telephones, single-unit telephone sets, cordless telephones, and facsimile machines as well. The system could accommodate 48 telephone lines and 160 extensions. It also had a display for displaying a call duration and charge, and a least-cost routing function for automatically selecting the lines available at the lowest cost for outgoing toll calls. A variety of functions of the system included the morning call function and charge management function working in conjunction with personal computers, which are both suitable for hotels. In addition, the system supported a personal computer communications network.
