On February 10, 1994 NTT initiates service on the VPN (Virtual Private Network) for members only. The "Members's Network Service Center" is set up in Osaka, with responsibility for network installation as well as all monitoring, repair and maintenance work, and response to inquiries. The company works hard to enhance the usefulness of the network through precise, detailed maintenance. A system of discounted charges is established.
