In November 1993, NTT introduces its 'TeleGong' service. This service allows a user to publicize through the media (TV or radio programs, newspaper or magazines) a telephone number together with a list of questions with multiple-choice answers, each having a response number. NTT tallies the number of calls from listeners or readers to each of the numbers and notifies the customer of the results. The service is useful for public-opinion surveys conducted through news programs. | ||
