NTT DATA COMMUNICATION SYSTEMS CORPORATION		NTT takes the step of spinning off its data communications business, both in order to "maintain a focus on efficient growth and development of its core business within a streamlined organization, in order to provide our customers with comprehensive, reliable service," and to "strengthen the business as a whole through the preservation of fair competition." In July of Showa 63(1988) a new corporation "NTT Data Communications, Ltd." is founded, and becomes responsible for the parent company's communications business.
