Multimedia-based general information service experiment to confirm the system, technology, and users' needs for next-generation information services using electronic media, in order to reflect the results in future business development.

• Develops the multimedia information providing function which allows news, databases, video information, and related information to be available in a composite form on demand, the function which allows the user to freely process and use a variety of data and information without special knowledge, and the new presentation and application facilities for advertisement information which occupies a large part of existing media such as newspaper and TV. In this way, this experiment aims at "multimedia-based general information service" which dramatically changes the concept of conventional electronic media services.
