Outline
Examination of the practicality of information transfer of contents between distributed servers using the ultra-high-speed multimedia network.
- Accesses multimedia contents accumulated in the main center and district centers between arbitrary centers to transfer and use required information. Each center has a navigation function for navigating through the network to other centers which have requested contents not directly existing in that center, allowing the network to serve as a total multimedia information network.
- Introduces a video conference system covering the centers to examine online real-time multimedia services to some extent to check the possibility of services by future type 2 common carriers.
