Collection of basic information for constructing a remote integrated medical information network using the high-speed broadband backbone network
- Experiment with medical image data such as pathological and radiation images for evaluating their image quality, transfer quality, and compression/decompression algorithm.
- Evaluation of communications traffic of medical data passed inside and between medical facilities, and collection and analysis of technical problems for constructing a medical database.
- Evaluation of remote operation of medical instruments via communication lines and of the GUI (graphical user interface) for medical instruments.
