Wan Yi

PROFILE
In 1962 he was born in the city of De Yang, in Si Chuan Province of China.
In 1971 he moved to Pan Jin, LiaoNing Province in the North East.
In 1989 he graduated from the Woodcut Department of the Central Academy of Fine Arts.
From the year 1990 to 1993, his works were in Exhibitions of paintings in China and in Hong Kong, and his works art were collected by friends of China and Foreign countries and Collectors.
Now he is a member of the Woodcut Society of China and the Water Colour Painting Society. He is also the founder of the Preparatory Committee of the Society of Chinese Magazine.

Computer Created Art
Essential of computer art of China at present development of Chinese Computer Art dates back the end of the 1980's. At that time, only some companies enterpaises and stage organs engaged in the research of the computer picture writing.
It still wasn't in a large scale. At the begining of the 1990's, some young art designers with breath of vision engaged in the design of coputer created art and work on the publication of print art.
In the 1993, the first small-sized computer artist products exhibition was run in the painted corridor of the Central Academy of Fine Arts in Beijing.
From the year of 1994 to the beginning of the year 1995, in Beijing China and other Provinces and cities put on the computer art exhibitions. they were middle small sized exhibitions. In 1996, the continent of China set up the first magazine Coputer Created Art.
At present, there are thousands of people engaged in the computer arts(including music, art, movie-TV), looking forward to the future, China will have a large numbers of people engaged in the computer arts.
I hope that through the internet, we can associate and communicate with other computer artists in the world, and promote the development of the world's science and art together.
