The Trace Center is an interdisciplinary research, development and resource center
on technology and disability. It is part of the Waisman Center and the Department of
Industrial Engineering at the University of Wisconsin - Madison.
To decrease the amount of maintenance needed at the WEB site, the d-tag page could include only a link which returned the user to the original page. All other links would be accessed from the original page. However, this would mean that the person who wa
nted a description of the image map would have to make an extra link purely for the purpose of discovering the particulars about the visual properties of the image map.
