Subject:  Logistics for the January meeting

	
     Thank you for your important contributions to the Telecommunications 
Access Advisory Committee (TAAC).  It's hard to believe that the new year 
is already here and the TAAC is nearing completion.  I am still amazed at 
the quality and quantity of the work you have produced since June 1996.  
The following provides you with a better idea of the logistics for the 
January meeting.

     The next and last meeting of the TAAC will be on January 13-14 from 
9:00 a.m. - 5:00 p.m. at 1331 F Street, NW in the 8th floor conference room.

     We have asked several members of the TAAC to make a presentation to 
the Access Board on January 15th at the Board's regular business 
meeting.  The Board meeting will be held from 1:30 p.m. - 3:30 p.m. at 
the Marriott at Metro Center, 775 12th Street, NW in the lower level of 
the hotel.  I strongly encourage all TAAC members to attend the Board 
meeting.

     Following the Board meeting we have arranged for a reception 
honoring the work of the TAAC.  The awards reception will be held from 
4:30 p.m. - 6:30 p.m. at the National Press Club, 529 14th Street, NW on 
the 13th floor.

     All of these locations are close to one another.  I have included a 
map for your reference.


P.S.	We would still like the opportunity to bring the TAAC back 
together for one more meeting after the comment period closes on the 
Board's notice of proposed rulemaking (around the end of May).
