Norway - A Rainbowcountry

This part of Norway has the mildest climate, fewer extremes, than any other. There are only a handful of days on the coast at Stavanger with snow or ice, and an equal handful days with sun and warm weather. The nearby mountains will still be topped in white snow as the farmers on the coast are talking spring. this is sheep country and Spring is measured in Lambs. There is a rainbow outside my window at least twice during every rain. It is the cleansing rain that makes the air so sweet, the countryside so green and lush. Stavanger is an eldorado for fishermen of all types

Now it only remains for each new visitor to find the magic spot with the special appeal that sparks his or her imagination to new heights, and as we say in Norwegian: "Velkommen til Stavanger" !
