If you were born or married in Amsterdam (from 1893) but now live outside the Netherlands, then this service is a unique opportunity to obtain a copy of your birth or marriage certificate, via the Internet, from the Amsterdam Registry Offices. It also provides a way of finding the address of someone with whom you have lost contact. (If those persons have lived in Amsterdam!)
Just fill in the relevant on-line form and send it. We will ensure that the certificate is sent to your address within 48 hours of your request. If we cannot trace your details, we will let you know by E-mail. The certificate will be accompanied by a covering letter giving payment details. A certificate costs about US$ 9.
This service is currently restricted to persons not resident in the Netherlands.
