About the Design

Forming a strong contrast to what can be found in the garden now this organic shaped project does not want to compete but to find its own modern language of symmetry. Transparent during the day, glossy in the night it is a strong but modest eyecatch to people passing by.

What can be seen is only the skylight and the staircase leading to the multifunctional exhibition area underneath the ground. This 5500 sqm space (75m x 75m, 12m high) below the palace site can also be used for theatrical performances as well as for concerts.

Regarding the preservation demands of the historic buildings there will be no longer need for activities to take place in state of decay buildings damaging their component parts.
