This most ancient drawing of Herrenhausen Palace illustrates the state of the construction established by using the material of the demolished hunting lodge Lauenstadt near Koldingen by architect Bedogni and construction-administrator Stoers in 1666, and which was preserved until the first reconstruction in 1676.
