To whoever is listening, I would like to know why a community has the right to know if a sexual offender has moved into the area without regard to that individuals right to privacy, yet a convicted drug dealer, murderer, spouse beater, thief, or violent criminal is exempt from the same public discloure laws? If in fact that the punishment fits the crime and that jail time pays ones dues to society why the hypocrisy in public information? Isn' the violent criminal just as much a threat to the community as the sexual predator? Why does one's mistake that has been punished by society ie. jail, have the opportunity to follow one's life into the public again? Isn't that almost double jeapordy? Just like to know, Brian.
