| Fresh roses, still unopened, are arranged in newspaper-wrapped bunches. Grown in Chiengmai, the flowers come in many colors, but most have only a mild scent. They are compensated for, however, by one pink variety so powerfully perfumed that a bouquet of them can fill a room with their fragrance. |
