The author Toi Jugatsu's team finally makes it to the camp. It took time because of injury caused by falling, multiple tire punctures, and going off course. He had been running for 24 hours except for the 1 hour spent for refueling. He receives medical check immediately. He has only 30 minutes till today's start.
Start at 6:00 a.m.
Toi's team makes it for the start time but they have not been eating since yesterday nor have they had any sleep. Having started the race, Toi feels a pain on his hands and finally retires. From the start there have been many injuries reported and many drivers lost their course and the staff is busy attending to these situations. There was one big injury reported. In the evening, an emergency meeting was held with all the remaining drivers attending.
"Our bodies are getting used to the conditions and the rally is going to be fun from here on." In order to enjoy the Gobi Desert more, a meeting was held where the first half of the course was excluded from the official timed course and only the latter half was to be recorded.
