I watched his first match yesterday on TV. He looks well. He made a quick move, his power remains the same with very good fighting spirit. Although, he could not win his 1052th match in Makuuchi, which is 9th record in Sumo history and same no. with Chiyonofuji, and he will be 8th record holder today, he would be keeping up through rest of the tournament. I think he lost his weight which makes him move faster.
