Happy Thanksgiving! I hope your recent visit was relaxing and pleasant. We are excited and anxious for our students. We want them to have a useful and enjoyable orientation in order to prepare and have a meaningful visit. Mrs. T. Tajima has volunteered her services in Tokyo and also in Honolulu. She is a Japanese educator, very experienced in working with people from Hawaii. I have known her for fifteen years. She is an ESL teacher at a university in Japan and also works summers with me at the American School in Japan in Chofu. She will be bringing some things for our Nanakuli students when she attends a conference at the University of Hawaii on December 17. You can reach me at NHIS and I can give you her Tokyo number since your phone number must be very private. She is a bright and wonderful young lady. She will meet our students when she is in Hawaii. I am in the high school office. Thank you very much.
