EYE-AI Magazine seeks a story on Hawaii......
by EYE-AI Magazine/ Sangeeta Nanwani, 2/5/97

Dear Mr. Konishiki,

Hello. We have always been viewing your matches during the sumo tournaments with enthusiasm and anticipation. Our magazine, Eye-Ai, created by our own publishing company, Riverfield, has served as a channel between the eighty percent of our readers in Hawaii, and Tokyo. We provide information regarding events taken place in the Japanese entertainment world and also focus on the various cultural aspects of this country. We are also celebrating our 20th anniversary of our magazine this year. We have heard that you had recently invited a group of elementary school students from Hawaii to Japan, and had taken them on many exciting excursions. We are writing this letter to you in hopes of receiving your permission to pursue our interest in the matter by asking you to please contribute some photographs and a little story, or certain memories, during this event. We continue to look forward to your luck andsuccess in the Sumo world. Thank you very much for your time and kind attention.
