Seum-Lim Gan is currently a Research Officer in the Department of Physics at the National University of Singapore. His research interests include computer music, musical sound synthesis and acoustics. He looks after the Laboratory for Imaging Sensing and Processing (LISP) which houses a few Silicon Graphics Workstations, digital cameras, image processors and a MicroVAX mini-computer. He also set up the web servers of the Physics Department and of the Faculty of Science. Gan's hobbies include photography (still and motion), audio production (recording, editing and mastering), electronics, travel, psychology, computers and astronomy. Gan has also recently become a father of a baby boy. |
