Neil Gershenfeld came to the MIT Media Lab in 1990 to work with Tod Machover and Yo-Yo Ma on the hypercello project. He then joined the Media Lab faculty to set up the Physics and Media group, to more broadly explore the boundary between the content of information and its physical representation. He is a co-Principal Investigator of the Media Lab's Things That Think research consortium. |
