Ben Denckla is a Masters student in Tod Machover's group at the MIT Media Lab. He has a degree in music and computer science from Harvard, where he managed the Electronic Music Studio. Besides being an accomplished cellist, he has also worked as a researcher at the National Institutes of Heath (NIH). Denckla has been responsible for designing and helping to write the main software infrastructure for the Brain Opera, including the Rogus McBogus MIDI application framework, and has supervised all software development on the project. |
