Professional and amateur sculptors from around the world compete for top honours. Spectators are invited to select their favourite sculpture for the "Popular choice award."

Twenty sculptors will each carve a single block of ice ¾ initially weighing 135 kg ¾ in a competition involving both amateurs and professionals.
Feb. 17, 10 am-3 pm.
Some 50 two-person teams will carve one item per team. After Winterlude, sculptures will be placed on the Ice Hog Express and sent with the Ice Hogs on their return to the North Pole.
