H.H. The Fourteenth Dalai Lama

The Dalai Lama's Official Homepage. His Holiness, Tenzin Gyatso, the Fourteenth Dalai Lama heads the Tibetan government in exile in Dharmasala, India. He was awarded the Nobel Peace Prize in 1989. The official London office also contains information about the Dalai Lama. An audio archive of the Dalai Lama's 1983 address to the National Press Club in Washington, D.C. may be found at the Internet Town Hall.

Gyuto Monks performing Tantric Buddhist chants. In these incredible performances the monks produce polyphonic sounds from their voices. Recorded by Grateful Dead bassist Mickie Hart, and released on CD, the audio quality and images on the site are first rate.
