What is Public Access Place? Public Access Place is the place where the general public can take part in and have a look at this expo in person. And It is the place where you can get a real time picture and sounds of all kind of events concerning I*EXPO'96 as well as connection with central park by using high speed exclusive line and multi-media computer. According to connention velocity and scale, it is divided into 3 parts : High Speed PAP, Gerneral PAP, Internet Desk(Mini PAP). First of all, You go though high speed network of the future information society by using T3 line (45Mbps) and you can also get Hi-Fi T.V. virtual reality that has been impossible on the existing network in the special events to go here. You meet not only family or friends abroad but also citizens of the global village being one of them. General PAP is being supported by official entries and sponsors and coordinating with special helpers. You are free of change here but sometimes not. 100 of general PAPs are to be set up whole over Korea. This facility will show you a future of Korea's advanced network environment and make the moto "Korea in the world, the world in Korea" come true to make globalization by providing you with a chance to get in touch with internet easily and quickly. Internet Desk (Mini PAP) is a PAP in a smaller scale; It will be set up at major lacal public places and computer shops to materialize "Internet in your daily life," The I*EXPO Organization Committee refers to entries of these PAP as special helpers and renders every possible back up for example, discount on the line fees to those who run PAP with no charge for the public good.
