Namsan Park
| Namsan Park is located at Mt. Namsan (256 m) in the heart of Seoul. It contains a variety of cultural and entertainment facilities, including an octagonal pavilion at the summit, the Seoul Tower, an aquarium, a fountain, as well as a botanical garden and a muni- cipal library. Cable cars run to the summit, providing a panoramic view of the entire capital and its surrounding countryside. This is another popular place for citizens of Seoul.

Seoul Tower
| Seoul Tower, which stands on the top of Mt. Namsan, is the third highest
tower (240m) in the world. It was completely built in 1975. Elevators run to the observation platform, located 480 meters above sea level at a speed of 4 meters a second. The view of Seoul seen from the 2nd and 3rd observation floors and the revolving observation platform on the 5th floor is especially excellent at night. On the first basement floor are a Korean restaurant, an aquarium, a marine life museum, Fancy World, a game room and a souvenir shop. Near the tower, an octagonal pavilion, a beacon, An Chung-kun Memorial, a botanical garden and a cable car can be found.

Kyobo Book Center
| Established in 1981, the Kyobo book Center is located in the 5,100m*m basement of the Kyobo Bldg., and is
the largest bookshop in Korea. It holds stocks, amounting to 150,000 varieties of one million five hundred thousands books including foreign publications (mainly in English and Japanese). Foreigners and Koreans visiting to Seoul typically drop into this center of intelligence and culture. |

Sejong Cultural Center
| Sejong Cultural Center is located near Kwanghwamun Gate in the heart
of Seoul. It was built as the center of culture and art in honor of
the sublime spirit of King Sejong of the Choson Dynasty and his
great achievements. The six-story building has three underground levels and is composed of a main hall with a seating capacity of 3,895, an arena-style hall with a seating capacity of 522, a grand convention room with a seating capacity of 278, a small convention room with 50 seats, a banquet room, an exhibition room, the fountain plaza, and an underground parking lot. The center hosts various international events, arts performances and exhibitions. |

City Hall

Seoul City Hall, at the center of the city, handles various administrative
affairs of metropolitan Seoul. In front of it is a tourist map of the
city as well as a fountain that characterizes the City Hall Plaza. City Hall is a three story building with one underground level. Built on an area of 12,232 square meters during the Japanese occupation of Korea, it was dedicated in January, 1926. A general information center is located on the second floor of the City Hall. |
