”””” Andong Folk Museum is comprised of an indoor museum and an outdoor museum, on the area of 171,630 square meters.
The indoor museum displays ceremonial occasions of Confucian society, such as the ceremonies of coming-of-age, marriage, funerals and ancestor memorial service. Also on display are local folk games, represented in models.
There are also an audio-visual room and a theater.
The outdoor museum displays an ice storage and traditional houses.
They were moved here from their original sites, which were submerged in water by the construction of Andong Dam.

    This hall gives the viewers a chance to reflect on the deep roots of Korean traditional music history as well as consider its future.

    This hall displays a collection of Korean traditional music. It is a places for viewers to see the variety and history of our tradition.

    Ancient Document Room(66§³):
    This hall exhibits old books and scriptures of music and dance. Though viewing them, one may experience the artistic mentality of our great ancestors.

    Masters' Room;
    Artist who are extremely skilled in their craft are called Masters. This hall contains articles prized by many great Masters and gives us a chance to catch glimpses into their artistic spirituality.

    This hall gives us chance to recognize both the uniqueness of Korean traditional instruments while viewing instruments of many different cultures.
