Korean have for thousand of years loved this splendid mountain as an object of folk. Renowned Buddhist temples, valleys, waterfalls and beautiful paeks over the three provinces of chollanam-do, chollabuk-do and Kyongsangnam-do form the 10 beauties of the park.
The mountain has a great variety of animals and plants, especially of Korean tea in good quality. It originated here and the growing berbs remains active.
