Kumjongsansong Fortress |
Located on the summit of Mt. Kumjongsan northwest of Tongnae Hot Springs, Kumjongsansong was the largest mountain fortress in Korea, with a height of 1.5-6 meters and an original length of 17 kilometers. Only four kilo- meters of its wall remains today. The wall, rebuilt in 1970, and two gates, to the east and west, are designated as Historic Site No. 215. A cable car runs to the mountain top from Kumgang Park below.

Local Transportation
By city bus, get off at Tongnae Hot Springs.
By bubway, get off at Onch'onjang Station or Pomosa Station.
The fortress is 19km from Pusan Station and 10km from the airport.
