Opening in1997, the Kochi University of Technology (KUT) will share a sister school relationship with the world-reknowned Massachusetts Institute of Technology. KUT aims to foster a technically advanced student body, supporting them beyond graduation into their various careers. KUT also hopes to perform cooperative research and projects with industry and government, as well as pursue various international academic exchanges.
