What is RedR ?

It is usually very difficult to secure a group of engineers to be dispatched t o a disaster stricken area in an emergency. RedR is established to solve this problem. This organization, based in Great Britain, sends technical experts to disaster stricken areas in order for them to provide their expertise to help support g roups working there. In order to be registered at Red R as a member, any technical expert has to f ulfill strict criteria and then complete a training program.

RedR's missions vary in the length of time requir ed, from a few days to a few years. The majority of missions, however, usuall y last two or three months.
