This document is the latest version of materials being developed by a task force involving researchers, industry, government, and consumers, identifying ways that standard manufactured consumer products can be made more accessible to people with disabilities.

The Ad Hoc Industry-Consumer-Researcher Work Group is an open group composed of those individuals interested in more accessible consumer product design. The work group is headquartered at the Trace R&D Center at the University of Wisconsin-Madison. Anyone can join by reviewing or submitting comments to correct, elaborate, or extend these guidelines. To participate in the work group, simply send your comments, ideas, corrections or extensions to consprod@trace.wisc.edu.

A one-piece downloadable version of the Consumer Product Guidelines is also available.
