user sl5h9 disabled because of mail bombing

Howdy,
I recieved a call from the Westnet NOC at 22-dec-1994 at approx 11:30 AM. I was informed that Westnet had received complaints of a student at USU had been mail bombing north.pole.org. The account was sl5h9. I checked his account in the DEClab and he has a file, ~sl5h9/msend that contains the following:
while 1 mail elves@north.pole.org < /dev/null end
This is a very serous mail bomb.... In any case I had Kim disable
that username on cc.usu.edu, and I disabled it on the DEClab machines. Since
I recieved the call while on holiday, I think that it is only fair that the
student be made to grovel much before we give his account back. An appology
the the folks at north.pole.org also comes to mind.
